Golden Latte with Turmeric, Cinnamon + Ginger | FREE RECIPE

Feeling a little under the weather? The gingerol in ginger contains powerful medicinal properties. Gingerol is the main bioactive compound in ginger, responsible for much of its medicinal properties. It has powerful anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects.

GOLDEN LATTE RECIPE 

NUT-FREE | VEGETARIAN | GLUTEN-FREE 

SERVES 3

Ingredients:

  • 1 tsp ground turmeric
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp ground ginger
  • pinch of black pepper
  • dash of vanilla essence
  • 5g honey
  • 250ml milk

Method:

  1. Mix together the grounded powders.
  2. Slowly warm your choice of milk over a stove top.
  3. Combine the spice mix, a pinch of pepper and dash of boiling water into a mug, then mix in the honey and milk.
  4. Continue to stir through as you drink, as the powder will settle.

MAKE IT VEGAN
Use maple syrup and opt out cow's milk or almond, soy or rice milk.

TIP
You can prepare a bigger batch of your spice mix to save for later. Combine 3 tbs turmeric, 3 tbs cinnamon and 2 tbs ground ginger in an airtight jar.
