Leg Extension

Target Area: Lower Body 

Equipment: Leg Extension Machine

  1. Start in a sitting position and press your hips firmly into the seat. 
  2. Adjust the machine so that there is tension at your shins before applying any effort. 
  3. Straighten your legs by extending your knees. 
  4. Flex your knees and return back to the starting position ensuring you apply tension to the leg roller controlling your movement on the way down. 
  5. This is one repetition.

INTENSITY

Increase

Increase the weight on the machine or number of repetitions.

Decrease

Decrease the weight on the machine or number of repetitions
