Leg Curl

Target Area: Lower Body

Equipment: Leg Curl Machine 

  1. Start in a lying position on the machine. 
  2. Position the leg adjustment so that you feel slight tension through your hamstrings while in the lying position.
  3. Gradually curl your heels in towards your buttocks, ensuring you press your heels against the leg roller throughout the movement.
  4. Continue to apply tension to the leg roller and gradually straighten your leg through the eccentric motion. This is one repetition.

INTENSITY

Increase

Increase the weight on the machine or number of repetitions.

Decrease

Decrease the weight on the machine or number of repetitions.
